YouFIX Payment Protection Policy
Legal Information & Policies
At YouFIX, we prioritize the security and satisfaction of our users by ensuring a safe and transparent payment process. Our Payment Protection Policy is designed to safeguard both employers and contractors, fostering trust and confidence throughout the project lifecycle.
How Payment Protection Works
- Secure Payments
All payments made through YouFIX are processed via our secure platform. We use trusted third-party payment gateways to ensure that financial transactions are encrypted and protected against fraud. - Escrow Services
When an employer accepts a contractor’s bid, the agreed-upon payment is held in escrow. Funds are only released to the contractor once the employer confirms the work has been completed to their satisfaction. - Milestone Payments
For larger projects, employers and contractors can agree on milestone payments. As each milestone is completed and approved, the corresponding payment is released from escrow, providing flexibility and transparency.
Dispute Resolution
If there is a disagreement between an employer and a contractor regarding payment or project deliverables, YouFIX offers a dispute resolution service to help mediate and resolve the issue. Both parties will have the opportunity to present evidence, and our team will work to ensure a fair outcome.

Employer Responsibilities
- Timely Payments: Employers are required to fund the agreed-upon payment promptly to initiate the project.
- Project Approval: Employers should review completed work carefully and approve payments once satisfied with the results.
Contractor Responsibilities
- Quality Work: Contractors must deliver work that meets the agreed-upon terms outlined in the project.
- Clear Communication: Contractors should maintain open communication with employers to ensure expectations are aligned.
Refund Policy
If a project is canceled before work begins, employers are eligible for a full refund of escrowed funds. If a dispute arises after work has started, refunds will be subject to the findings of YouFIX’s dispute resolution process.
