YouFIX Refund Policy

Legal Information & Policies


At YouFIX, payments are held securely in escrow to protect both employers and service providers. Refunds are handled fairly based on project status, documented communication, and the agreed scope of work.

When Refunds May Be Issued

  • Full or partial refunds may be issued for incomplete work, based on how much of the agreed project was completed.
  • Full refunds are issued for contractor no-shows where no meaningful work has been performed.

If a project is paused or stopped early, YouFIX may review the work completed and determine a fair refund amount using platform records.

When Refunds Are Not Available

  • No refunds are available once a project has been approved and funds have been released to the service provider.
  • No refunds will be issued solely due to dissatisfaction if the work was completed according to the agreed scope, pricing, and standards outlined in the accepted quote.

Approval of a project confirms that the work meets the original agreement.

Refund Limits

  • Refunds will never exceed the original accepted quote amount.
  • Refunds do not include additional damages, lost time, or expenses outside the agreed project scope.

Disputes & Mediation

YouFIX may act as a neutral mediator when disputes arise. This may include reviewing:

  • Project descriptions and accepted quotes
  • Messages exchanged on the platform
  • Uploaded photos, files, and timelines

All decisions are made at YouFIX’s discretion using reasonable standards of fairness. YouFIX’s maximum liability is limited to the quoted project value agreed upon between users.

Changes to This Policy

Our platform reserves the right to amend this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting, and continued use of the platform after modifications implies acceptance of the new terms.
